Delicious S'mores Cookie Bar Dessert

Hi everyone! Sorry that my blog post is late again! UGH! I had some technical difficulties with my computer and we were trying to get a better internet connection this week.

Anyways, am I the only one that is glad it's finally summer? Summer is probably my most favorite season and we've had pretty nice weather here this week which is a bonus! Willow and I spent a few hours at the lake on Monday. Willow absolutely LOVES the water! We soaked up some of that gorgeous vitamin D and she got a nice tan! Haha!

Anywho, one of the desserts I always think of when I think of summer is a yummy ooey-gooey rich s'mores dessert my mom taught me to make. I honestly could eat a whole pan to myself... and then be really sick! Haha! I love rich desserts! But more than that I love EASY desserts. This one is so easy and it only takes 6 ingredients, some of which you may already have on hand.

Alright, so let's get to it!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 & 1/2 sticks butter, melted

  • 3 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

  • 3 cups mini marshmallows

  • 1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk

This desert takes about 10 minutes to prepare and makes 2 dozen bars. . .

DIRECTIONS

Ok, so first preheat your oven to 350' F. Take a 9x13 and combine melted butter with graham cracker crumbs. I normally put one package of graham crackers in the food processor and then use my hands and break a second package so that there are bigger chunks.

Now, press the melted butter and graham cracker mixture to form an even layer.

Next, in order, you are going to evenly sprinkle the chocolate chips, the butterscotch chips, and the mini marshmallows.

Then pour the can of sweetened condensed milk over the mixture making sure to completely cover the mini marshmallows. Bake 20 minutes or until bubbly.

Bake 20 minutes or until bubbly. Place on a wire rack and let cool. I like to eat them warm so I normally do not cool them completely but it does make serving easier if you refrigerate 1 hour.

So now you have you a mess of mouthwatering, taste bud quivering deliciousness! Are ya gonna cut a piece and melt in heavenly gooeyness? I am! MmMmm. . .

ENJOY!

Until next time...
